Had a lovely stay in the Twin Room at Flokalundur. The spacious room had an impeccably clean bathroom with a big shower. The breakfast featured homemade bread, a standout! Internet speed was surprisingly fast, considering the remote area. The staff offered attentive service, making meals in the restaurant enjoyable. I appreciated the access to local attractions, especially the nearby Hellulaug hot springs. However, dinner options lacked variety, and the restaurant service was slow during peak hours. Also, noise from the lobby was noticeable, affecting early morning sleep. Nonetheless, the fjord views from the hotel are breathtaking!

The location offers easy access to the stunning Westfjords, making it ideal for exploring the area. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, and I appreciated the abundance of electrical outlets and USB ports. However, the dining experience was somewhat lacking. while breakfast included a delightful selection of fresh bread, dinner options did not impress. Additionally, the noise from a large tourist group diminished the overall ambiance.

It was just an optimal selection for a mini-break over the weekend in Brjanslaekur with reasonable value. The WiFi surprisingly fast made it easy to plan our next steps while away. Avoid trying to walk to the public hot spring in your swimsuit as it's quite a trek.

Great stay in a peaceful spot!
Had a lovely night here during our West Fjords trip. The location is super chill and safe, with amazing ocean views. The breakfast was delish! I wish the place had a minifridge for leftovers though. The dining options are limited, so plan ahead if you wanna eat out.
